SALSA CONGRESS & Dance Festival

Over 400 people joined Brooklyn’s Mambo Queen, Ms. Arelis Beato and Tropical Image Inc. at the Tenth Annual Brooklyn Salsa Congress & Dance Festival, “A FUNDRAISER” for the “GET KIDS OFF THE STREETS PROJECT (G-KOTS), Friday, Nov. 11, 2016.

G-KOTS project was started by Ms. Arelis Beato, through the Tropical Image Inc., a Not for Profit 501(c) (3) corp. and offers dance classes to children in the New York area FREE or at LOW Cost.  The GKOTS program Prides itself on nurturing the minds of our youngsters with Culture, Morals, Values, Self- respect, Education, Professionalism, Career and Character development support amongst many other benefits.

This year’s Highlights THEME " A SOCIAL AFFAIR", will feature a special performance from the 

* NY-ALL Stars Showcase production

*  GKOTS Dance Project Collaboration Performance

* “The NY-ALL Star Dancers Jam” Featuring NY Salsa dance Icons & Pioneers: and more!

The Fun will not stop there, The dance floor will be on Fire! with special music sets, and more. 

 We are all looking forward to this year's festivities as we feature a weekend of dancing: 

Thurs - Kick off Party @ Yayo's - Featuring Dj John John 

Friday - A social Affair night @ Widdi Hall (Performances & Dancing til 2am) Saturday - After Party @ Club Cache - Featuring DJ Alejandro

Sunday - Farewell Party @ LCL - Featuring the best Salsa, Bachata, Shows & Workshops.
